About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of complex engineering solutions. The Senior Engineer will play a critical role in driving technical excellence, mentoring junior team members, and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver high-quality products and systems. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to influence technical direction and best practices.
Required Qualatificions
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
[10-15]+ years of professional engineering experience, with demonstrated senior-level responsibilities.
Strong expertise in Civil and irrigation engineering.
Proven experience leading complex projects or systems.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Experience working in agile, lean, or other structured development environments.
Demonstrated ability to influence technical strategy and organizational change.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
Lead the design and development of complex engineering projects from concept through deployment.
Make architectural and design decisions that ensure scalability, performance, reliability, and maintainability.
Review and approve technical designs, specifications, and documentation.
Troubleshoot and resolve high-impact technical issues.
Project Execution
Translate business and functional requirements into robust engineering solutions.
Estimate effort, timelines, and risks for engineering initiatives.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to quality standards.
Continuously improve processes, tools, and engineering practices.
Collaboration & Communication
Work closely with product managers, designers, and operations to align technical solutions with business objectives.
Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Participate in cross-functional planning and decision-making.
Development Mentorship & Team
Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers.
Provide constructive feedback through code/design reviews and technical discussions.
Promote a culture of learning, accountability, and engineering excellence.
Quality, Compliance & Best Practices
Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and innovation efforts.
